Cambridge is home

Nine years ago, my wife Erika and I moved back to Waterloo Region with our two kids  after a decade in Toronto in order to be closer to family. We chose Cambridge because it was close to the 401, as I was still commuting to the GTA for work.

We’ve since  lived in both Preston and Hespeler, and I now work in Galt as a high  school teacher, assisting co-op students by connecting them with local businesses.

"We've grown to love Cambridge and it truly feels like home!"

Over time, I’ve become more involved in our community. I have volunteered with city council committees and local nonprofits that focus on arts and culture and legal support.

"There are thousands of helpers volunteering in many capacities to make our city better, but they don't always get the support they need from City Hall."

We need to make Cambridge affordable, our neighbourhoods vibrant and supported so they can offer accessible, fun things to do, and our parks and trails clean and safe.

I am committed to working toward this end. But the only way we make a city even better is by working together.
